I am interested in developing biophysical models utilizing quantitative imaging data to predict the temporospatial development of tumors.
My current work is focused on the development of biophysical models to predict the temporospatial development of tumors. We parameterize and initialize these models exclusively with quantitative imaging data. To this end, we employ various imaging techniques, such as diffusion weighted magnetic resonance imaging, dynamic contrast enhanced magnetic resonance imaging, and 18-Fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography. In this way, our models produce predictions specific to the tumor of interest. My future work will focus on incorporating treatment terms in the models to predict a tumor's response to therapy.
