I'm interested in the synthesis of photosensitizers for the photodynamic therapy of cancer.


My current research is focused on the synthesis of a caged tamoxifen compound utilizing upconverting nanoparticles to be used for in vivo studies of colorectal cancer. I am also working on the synthesis of fluorescent probes to be used in fluorescence imaging.
